A valuable Chelsea player is set to make a flawless comeback in the massive derby showdown

Reece James returned to the Chelsea starting line up for the first time since our first game of the season against Liverpool.

Against Blackburn he made his usual impact – plenty of dangerous runs and crosses down the right, an aggressive presence which really took us up a gear – just as it always does.

He could have scored the opening goal too, with his precise first time shot not quite squeezing under the Blackburn keeper.

As would have been the plan from before the game, we took him off after an hour. It was a great return to action in terms of minutes in the legs, and while Blackburn didn’t challenge him defensively much, he should be sufficiently warmed up for Monday night’s clash against Tottenham.

With that much time to prepare, and with 5 subs available, barring any unforeseen medical issues, we suspect James will start that game, with Malo Gusto ready to come on after an hour.
