Chelsea source: Blues to reject January striker approach

As January approaches we’re starting to hear more and more rumours about potential moves both in and out and Chelsea, and today Nizaar Kinsella is reporting on Fulham’s push to sign Armando Broja.

The striker has spent most of this season so far recovering from an injury which ruled him out for most of last season too. He made an impressive return, played two starts in a week, and has since been basically limited to appearances off the bench.

Despite all that, Chelsea aren’t willing to let him go, either on loan or permanently, in January. Mauricio Pochettino is “a fan” and the striker is now fit to start games, with the manager having been extra cautious with the Albania international.

Chelsea are looking for a top class striker to buy either in January or the summer, but regardless of their interest, it seems Broja is going nowhere for now.
