Chelsea yet to decide on future of number one goalkeeper
Chelsea are yet to decide whether or not Robert Sanchez will be their number one shot stopper for the long-term, according to a new report.
The Spaniard was brought in from Brighton over the summer, and has so far, been used regularly by Mauricio Pochettino.
Djordje Petrovic was also signed from the MLS, but the Serbian has not yet made an appearance for the senior team.
It is being reported by Football.london that the Blues have decided to hand Sanchez the rest of the ongoing campaign to prove himself as a worthy number one for the club. Whether that will be the case next term will depend on how well the 25-year-old performs in the course of the season.
Chelsea will have no issues with signing other players who can play in that position if Sanchez fails to live up to expectations.
