Chelsea executive aims to sign €120m player
One of Chelsea’s owners has reportedly made it pretty clear who he wants to sign and when he wants to sign them, as we approach the January transfer window.
That is at least according to extensive report on Chelsea’s striker pursuit today.
Chelsea insider Simon Phillips has put his latest updates out on his Subtsack site today, and he hones in on some very interesting snippets relating to strikers, with fresh info on both Victor Osimhen of Napoli, and Ivan Toney of Brentford.
“I understand that one high powered member of the Chelsea hierarchy wants a new striker as soon as possible, and said member of the team wants Victor Osimhen,” Phillips wrote.
There is no mention of who the member of the Chelsea hierarchy is, but you’d be led to believe that it is either Todd Boehly or Behdad Eghbali.
Of course, Chelsea’s recruitment setup is full of other decision makers right now and not just the main two owners. So the decision for a new striker will be a collective one, even if one of the current owners are clear what they would like to see!
Osimhen is currently valued at €120m by Transfermrkt.
