Chelsea open surprise  Joao Felix return as part of Gallagher move after Omorodion collapse 

The collapse of Chelsea’s pursuit of Samu Omorodion could have serious repercussions for Atletico: they need to make sales to register Conor Gallagher as their new player.

So, according to Fabrizio Romano, the clubs found a pretty unexpected option that could help them start the roll — they are discussing Joao Felix as part of the Gallagher deal.

The discussions are taking place in London, with Felix’s agent Jorge Mendes present.

Felix played for Chelsea on loan for four months in 2023. The Portuguese forward scored four goals in 20 appearances.

He spent the last season on loan at Barcelona and wanted to stay there, but the Catalans could not afford him. Now, Atletico hope that they have found a match for the wantaway player in West London.
