Chelsea target fights club for desired January move

Aaron Ramsdale is keen on a move away from Arsenal, according to a report from 90 min which was released last night.

The goalkeeper has lost his place in the starting team to summer arrival David Raya, and while manager Mikel Arteta has insisted there’s some sort of rotation going on, that has now been shown up as a total lie – and a bit of an error from Arteta.

The report says that Ramsdale wants to go now, while Arsenal want to keep him until the summer. Given it’s mid season, we’d have to say it’s very likely that the club get their way. They’re not going to risk anything just to keep the former Bournemouth man happy.

Chelsea seem fairly happy with Robert Sanchez, although they also seem primed to upgrade to a true top tier option when one comes on the market. Is Ramsdale that option? Arsenal certainly didn’t think so.
