Chelsea’s January striker pursuit hinges on two players, per journalist

Chelsea’s search to sign a new striker in January depends on two players according to one journalist this morning.

As The Blues prepare to take on Brighton at Stamford Bridge this afternoon, the talk continues about what they might have planned for the winter transfer market which is now right around the corner.

Most outlets are in agreement that the club are looking at potential new strikers to come in, but journalist Dean Jones has written an update today on GIVEMESPORT, and he believes there are two current players that this pursuit will depend on.

Jones claims the expectations around Chelsea recruiting a new proven goalscorer in the January transfer window are likely to depend on the impact of Christopher Nkunku and Armando Broja between now and the new year.

Broja has been coming back from a long-term injury and also hit a snag in his recovery. But he seems to be back now and even has a chance of starting today.

Nkunku is still yet to kick a ball for Chelsea in a competitive match after getting injured in pre-season.
