May not play today; Lampard’s angrily hits out at poor training performance player; Here is what he said

Aubameyang has have a very poor form for Chelsea in matches and this has gone a little bit too far more than just matches but this has been pushed into training too.

After four games without a goal, Chelsea are getting desperate, and in the press conference today, Lampard was asked whether Auba was in his plans.

The manager’s response was not overwhelmingly positive, and seemed to hint that the striker would need to improve his performance in training if he wanted starts:

“We’ll see in that one [starts for Aubameyang]. I don’t want to go position specific. What I do want to say is, the players have to feel when they train and when they turn up for training and how they prepare, the competitive nature in the squad to get a place in the team needs to be high in every position,” Lampard said in quotes in Football.London.
