Chelsea owner Todd Boehly hold talks over ground-sharing with Premier League club owner

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has held talks with another Premier League club owner regarding the possibility of ground sharing, according to a report this week.

As we know, Chelsea’s current owners are looking at ways to build a bigger stadium capacity and are weighing up a number of different options. They might move sites altogether, or they might look to build up where they are already on the current site, Stamford Bridge.

But whatever they decide to do, it is going to take many years and they will likely need to play somewhere else on a temporary basis whilst it is being built or rebuilt.

And according to The Daily Mail, Boehly is believed to have held informal talks with Fulham’s owner Shahid Khan about the possibility of ground sharing, but although representing the most convenient move just one mile down the road, a spell in Craven Cottage – capacity 25,700 – could see the Blues miss out on key revenue.
